Recruitment

Alpha Chi Omega is a national women's organization that enriches the lives of both its collegiate and alumnae members through lifetime opportunities for friendship, leadership, learning and service.

“The summer before my freshman year, I knew close to nothing about what it meant to be a part of Greek Life but figured it would be worth rushing to see what it was all about. The first day was so overwhelming, but as I returned to the Alpha Chi house throughout the week I realized that the girls wanted nothing more than to make me feel comfortable and like I belonged there. The conversations were genuine and, by the end of rush, I knew that Alpha Chi Omega was the sorority I wanted to call home. More importantly, I wanted to call those girls my sisters. Seeing everyone so excited and happy when I got to the Horseshoe on Bid Day only confirmed the fact that I knew I had made the right choice!”

Alpha Chi Omega at USC!
Housing Information

The Alpha Chi house at USC just received a new addition! The goals of this project were to: double the main floor meeting and dining space, create additional downstairs study areas, expand the kitchen space to allow for the freshest meals, double the second floor sundeck and add a new bedroom suite to bring the total number of residents to 33!

Our chapter house, located at 515 Gadsden Street, is in the Greek Village and has three floors that are always filled with activity. Here we hold chapter meetings, sisterhood events, and have meals prepared by our in-house chef.

The house features suite-style living, with two girls to each bedroom. There are five, two-bedroom suites and two, three-bedroom suites. The third level holds Executive Board officers and has its own den and mini-kitchen. There is a kitchen on the second floor for all residents to use and a newly enlarged sun deck with a capacity of 150! The sun deck is complete with lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, a swing, and the occasional inflatable pool! There are also lots of rocking chairs on both our ground level and second floor front porches. These two porches are favorite spots for the girls to drink sweet tea and relax after a long week.

The first floor of the house holds the chapter room, where meetings are held and meals are served, as well as a brand new study, breakfast room, formal parlor, board room for committee and executive board meetings, an office complete with all the necessary y equipment, the house mother’s suite, and a den, known as the Red Room. The Red Room is a popular place to socialize while watching movies, football games, and TV favorites.

If chapter members wish to be closer to campus, they can live on our hall in South Tower. Located right next to the Russell House University Union, this is a great location to enjoy the benefits of on-campus life while getting to live with 29 of your best friends! Either way, you can't go wrong when living with your sisters in Alpha Chi housing.
